Happy New Year!

What does this new year hold for you? Are you expecting a better year than 09? Are you expecting this new decade to be better than the one that is closing upon us? Has this past year and decade been the best ever and you can't imagine the next year and decade being able to eclipse what has just past? Are you unsure what is ahead of you? Are you expectantly waiting for what is to come or are you anxiously nervous about what is about to unfold around you?

I know, a lot of questions. But when we realize we can't predict the future or change the past we are often left feeling out of control, or full of faith. If you are feeling full of faith and trusting God for what is yet to come even as you rest in His plan about what has already passed, then life is good even if things don't "look" like it all around you. But, if you are feeling out of control or feeling you don't have control about what has happened and what is about to happen, then you need something to change in your life.

What you need is faith. God can bring control to out of control lives. God can bring peace to an anxious mind. God can bring hope to a hurting heart. God can bring resolution to the unresolved. God can bring love to the unloved. God simply brings and asks us to take, free of charge,no strings attached. God desires you to be in relationship with Him. What say you?

Are you ready to approach a new year and new decade with anxiety and fear, or are you ready to relinquish your anxiety and fear to Him who is able to overcome all your fears, allay all your anxieties and meet all your needs according to His riches in glory? God is the God of yesterday, He is the God of today and He is the God of tomorrow. Put all your yesterdays, todays and tomorrows in His hand and your life will be fulfilled.
